Model Manufacture

Model devices are produced in cooperation with our contractual partners.

Models for simple casting parts are built manually or using conventional processing machines.

Geometrically more demanding parts are produced on CNC controlled lathes and milling machines.

Solidification Simulation

Our customers are offered computer aided simulations of casting processes.

They enable the detection of possible weak spots before developing a cast.

Solidification simulation is a very reasonable and economic addition to the inevitable field tests.

Casting Technique

Cast products built in our own manufacturing hall have a delivery weight of 1 to 450 kg per item.

In cooperation with our partners we can produce castings up to a delivery weight of several tons per item.

Single pieces and small series of special castings are manufactured using waterglass/ester systems.

For highest demands on accuracy and on surface quality we use the ceramic moulding system / Shaw system.

For preproduction models and components we use the 3D printing technology (Rapid Prototyping).

Melting Technology

  • 1 x high frequency induction furnace, liquid capacity of 180 kg

  • 1 x high frequency induction furnace, liquid capacity of 600 kg

The quality of the raw material is a decisive factor for the final product.


Only raw material satisfying our high requirements is being processed.

Heat treatment

All heat treatments are performed in electric pit furnaces.

  • Normalizing

  • Quenching and tempering

  • Annealing

  • Solution heat treatment – quenching

  • Soft annealing

An adequate heat treatment guarantees the required mechanic characteristics of castings.

Mechanic Final Treatment

In our factory, castings are finally processed on state-of-the-art horizontal and vertical CNC turning lathes with power-driven tools.

Lathing of larger and heavier castings is processed on a CNC vertical carousel lathe with powered tools up to a diameter of 1200 mm.

Smaller castings are processed on CNC lathes with powered tools.

Simpler components are processed on conventional lathes and milling machines.

Ensuring Quality

We perform destructive and non-destructive testprocedures to ensure the high quality demanded by our customers.

The chemical structure of materials is tested by means of a spectrometer.

Destructive and non-destructive tests are run in accredited external laboratories.

We issue EN 10204 certificates (chemical analysis, control of mechanical properties) and reports on non-destructive testing (RT-, PT-, MT- and UT-testing) and intercristalline corrosion (IK).
